The Competition Teams - Alpine, Freestyle and Snowboard
completed a very successful six day holiday camp on December 31, 2011. In spite of the "lack" of snow the coaching staff and our athletes worked hard on establishing a very solid base of skills and miles on snow. The coaches were able to break down key skills, slow things down and have each athlete work at their own pace to gain ownership of the fundamentals. Through deep practice along with alot of freeskiing and riding the Hunter athletes are off to a good start.
This coming weekend our J1-2, J3 and a couple J4's are on the road to test the competition waters. The rest of the squad will be back at Hunter building their foundation of skills.
