Good morning Competition Team families and Coaches,
We will be starting up this weekend December 10 & 11, 2011!
All athletes should come prepared for on and off snow activities. In regard to equipment, please use your best judgment. Available terrain will be limited. For the off snow activities, some of the coaches may choose to do some dryland training. For this it would be advisable to bring appropriate clothing, foot gear and water.
The annual Parents Meeting will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at 9:00am in the Schoharie Conference Rooms located between the Main Base Lodge and the Copper Tree Restaurant. This meeting will be approximately 90 minutes in length allowing plenty of time to ski or ride afterwards.
I want to express to you the importance of this meeting. It will feature information vital to how the program operates, what is planned for the season and where the snow sports are headed in the future. I will be showing a video presentation by USSA’s Director of Education. This is a presentation that I attended over the summer and will layout the direction USSA is taking in regard to athlete development. This presentation will be some of the most important information you as a parent will hear this season.
To summarize, here is the schedule and is subject to change:

8:30am Meet coaches – meeting place near B-Lift (marked with Red Feather Flag and Meeting Place banner)
Break for Lunch
Resume training
3:00pm Training day ends
Sunday December 18, 2011
